Prior to founding YSK Events, Shabana was an accomplished professional Squash player  and Coach.   She always had a creative streak.  She is graduate of the University of Washington with a BA in English.     While on the professional tour, she planned, executed, and competed in  national and world tour squash events, including the Women's World Championships.   Her passion for  sports and creative drive lead her to start YSK events in late  2013.  

Shabana spearheaded the bid and management of the 2015 Men's  World Squash Championship.   Her  journey managing the largest  and most prestigious squash tournament in the world,  inspired her into  diversifying YSK  Events into other aspects of event management. 

Shabana serves on the PSA board.  She has also served on the board as a player, for WISPA (now PSA).  She has won numerous US National titles and achieved a World Ranking of #23.
